26 January 2026: ActionAid Mozambique says that aid cuts and the climate crisis are putting thousands at risk after dramatic rains and flooding in Central and Southern Mozambique.

Severe flooding in Manhiça district, Maputo province, has submerged homes and farmland, cut off roads, and left around 3,000 families in extreme vulnerability.
