Young people make up the majority of the world’s population. As they inherit multiple intersecting crises, it is essential that they are equipped with the knowledge and power to stand up for their rights, in an increasingly hostile and polarised world.
This series of primers are intended to raise awareness and increase participation amongst youth movements and young human rights defenders, with a strong focus on empowering young women and feminist activists. They explain the importance of multilateral spaces in safeguarding and expanding rights, advancing social justice, defending democratic space, and fostering cooperation and solidarity.
