International community must categorically reject Trump's call for forced displacement of over two million from Gaza and uphold international law

President Trump’s abhorrent comments suggesting the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza are not only damaging - they threaten peace and escalate instability at a critical moment when negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire are underway. His administration’s recent cuts to UNRWA - a lifeline for millions and central to Gaza’s humanitarian response—have also worsened the crisis, making his latest remarks even more dangerous.

The international community must categorically reject these plans and ensure all states uphold international law and the rights and dignity of all Palestinians. With humanitarian supplies finally reaching those in urgent need, world leaders must push for a permanent political solution that places the future of Gaza firmly in Palestinian hands.
