This study interrogates critical areas of the relationship between International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Government of Sierra Leone in terms of the history of programs, conditionalities, what has changed, and current prospects in terms of fiscal space to accelerate growth and ensure poverty related spending. The study by and large makes use of a mixed methodology of desk research, expert interviews, and focus group discussions.
