Global Secretariat IT Manager
This is an outstanding opportunity to enhance your IT management skills while helping to deliver women’s rights, social justice and an end to poverty.
Working with the Head of Digital and Technology, you will take responsibility for managing IT requirements and user support for our Global Secretariat including infrastructure that relies on outsourced services. You will utilise your technical expertise to consult with key stakeholders to understand infrastructure requirements and design core infrastructure services with appropriate availability, capacity, performance and security. This will involve evaluating IT operations, developing continuity plans for core systems and overseeing IT procurement. You will also play a leading role in the delivery of high-quality IT support at the local level, primarily through the use of in-country outsourced providers. You will make sure IT hardware assets are updated and maintained too.
You will hold a degree in computer science or related field and possess extensive experience of working with systems and process analysis as well as hardware and networking. Used to overseeing external service providers, you will possess excellent project management skills and a good understanding of partnership and governance in IT environments. You will also have sound knowledge of system and data architecture.
A strong communicator, you will be good at developing people, influencing others and driving change programmes.
An ITIL Service Management qualification would be desirable and certification in Cisco, Windows OS, SQL, VMware, LAN and or WAN would be an advantage.
