ActionAid has launched an emergency appeal following a devastating earthquake that struck central Myanmar, leaving over 1,000 people dead and thousands without homes and in urgent need of food, water and shelter.

ActionAid is heartbroken and outraged to learn that Mohammad Ahmad Abu Marshood, an engineer and projects coordinator at Al Awda Health and Community Association and hospital —run by ActionAid’s partner —has been killed by Israeli forces
