Child Sponsorship Impact and Accountability Advisor

This role will focus on retention and will support countries to deliver high quality CS programming and uphold supporter accountability. Working closely with the programme quality and learning team, this role will deliver the strategy commitment to ensure excellent and appropriate programme work in communities with CS funding that demonstrate impact on and improvement in the lives of children, as well as cost efficiencies in our CS programming.

This role will focus on retention and will support countries to deliver high quality CS programming and uphold supporter accountability. Working closely with the programme quality and learning team, this role will deliver the strategy commitment to ensure excellent and appropriate programme work in communities with CS funding that demonstrate impact on and improvement in the lives of children, as well as cost efficiencies in our CS programming.

You must have proven ability to design and coordinate peer to peer training, coaching and mentoring experience, experience and knowledge of the drivers of supporter loyalty and the ability to be able to translate these into appropriate supporter communications. Proven effective communication and negotiation skills to influence a range of stakeholders. Experience in designing and delivering on communications and reporting commitments to donors and supporters and understanding of the systems required for effective fundraising is essential.

Proven ability to build networks and establish relationships remotely and across multiple cultures, ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of groups/ individuals and organisations and knowledge and interest in current international development theory and practice is necessary. 

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification is essential. You must have a project management experience, operational understanding of marketing databases and budget management experience.
