Provide coordination for ActionAid's campaign work through the one global campaign and other public-facing initiatives. Roughly half the Campaigner’s time will be devoted to the global campaign, with the other half to assisting countries with national-level public-facing work as defined in the International Platforms separate from the one global campaign. You will also facilitate and support campaigning capacity development, learning and knowledge development with relevant actors.

Substantial experience of writing and designing campaign actions and other communication materials, using both online and print approaches and  experience of planning and executing (preferably multi-country) campaigns aimed at engaging the public and influencing decision makers is essential. You must have experience of using digital campaigning tactics, preferably in an international campaign context.

Strong, demonstrable project management skills, preferably in a cross-cultural and cross-organisational environment; strong interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrable experience of working with people from different organisations, functions, countries and cultures to deliver objectives and projects and strong communication skills and proven ability to translate complicated ideas into clear messages is required.

A relevant Bachelors or Master’s degree or substantial experience in locally and nationally rooted civil society campaigning, particularly involving people living in poverty and their organisations- building power from below is required and you must be proficient in English.
