Child Sponsorship Operations Officer

Join us as Child Sponsorship Operations Officer and you will be part of a team who are passionate about making the world a fairer place by supporting people to know, claim and defend their rights.

Working as part of a committed team you will support the global Child Sponsorship (CS) community through a critical period of CS modernisation transition. Critically, you will help countries maintain quality while introducing innovation and new working practices. This will involve changes in communications, business processes and geographical presence of CS implementation. As a subject matter expert, you will facilitate project related changes in implementing and funding countries as well as assist them comply with policies, guidelines and best practice to maintain and maximise income and ensure delivery against highest standards of sponsorship and supporter care. You will also produce regular management reports and support monitoring and evaluation processes relating to sponsorship and supporter care.

Ideally a graduate, you will have experience of sponsorship either in a country programme or fundraising market as well as sound knowledge of current fundraising policies, guidelines and best practices. You will be used to providing support and training too. Highly organised, you will possess excellent facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills. A strong communicator you will have a good standard of English and the flexibility to undertake travel when needed.

Experience of broader fundraising techniques, including individual giving, would be an advantage.
