ActionAid Cambodia implemented supporting the monitoring of aid effectiveness from a gender perspective, in collaboration with UN Women and with funding support from the Spanish ministry of foreign affairs and cooperation, from September 2011 to March 2012. The Cambodia study was part of a larger six country study on aid effectiveness and gender, which were conducted in Guatemala, Morocco, Mozambique, Peru and Viet Nam.
The study gathered in-depth information on the current aid effectiveness structures in Cambodia and assessed how well gender is considered in the aid of Civil Society, in particular women’s organizations and networks, in terms of their ability to participate in aid effectiveness dialogue and to monitor the gender impacts of aid flows.
The study produced three reports:
- Monitoring of Aid Effectiveness from a Gender Perspective-key findings and recommendations
- Monitoring of Aid Effectiveness from a Gender Perspective-Country Report
- Mapping of Key Stakeholders with Respect to Aid Effectiveness from a Gender Perspective
